Owner: Town of Thomaston Design/Build: Gartley & Dorsky, Camden, ME Description: The sidewalks of Main St., Thomaston were completely overhauled to give a facelift to this historic community. Funding was provided with federal grants obtained by the Town Manager. "Thomaston Granite" was used in conjunction with polished black marble adding to the wonderful enhancements that took place. A new town clock now sits near the intersection of Knox Street and Main Street. back to commercial This project was awarded the Municipal/Public Improvement Award by the Rockland-Thomaston Chamber of Commerce in 2006. |
