Education:
Thomas’s educational background began at Coastal Christian School and continued in 2001-2002 at the University of Maine-Thomaston, where Thomas took courses in Principles of Accounting and Business Management. In 2003, Thomas took a certification course in Project Estimating at the Mid Coast School of Technology.
Although not actively licensed, Thomas has taken the general requirements for his Real Estate Agent’s license in the State of Maine.
Registrations:
Thomas is certified in the OSHA approved safety workshops. He is also an active participant in a non-profit organization that focuses on providing housing for orphanages in Tanzania, Africa. He has dedicated personal time, labor, and finances in traveling to Tanzania.

Profile:
Thomas is an integral part of the management staff of Catalano's Construction. His main responsibilities include residential bidding and the oversight of all commercial bidding. Thomas coordinates residential projects with subcontractors and homeowners. More specifically these responsibilities include scheduling, meeting budgetary goals, organizing material drops, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a business relationship with customers.
Thomas began his career working as a general carpenter. Thomas worked from 1995-2001 in the field gaining in-the-field experience in framing, finish carpentry, roofing, siding, and all other aspects of residential construction. From 1999 to 2001, Thomas was the jobsite foreman, which included on-the-job supervision of all personnel employed by Catalano’s and all of its subcontractors. During this time he was responsible to insure that all carpentry was of utmost quality on each job. He was also responsible for the enforcement of safety precautions and meeting OSHA requirements.
