Profile:
Alfred McAlister acts as the commercial construction manager and safety director for Catalano’s Construction, Inc. Alfred began his employment with Catalano’s as a carpenter, but has since attained a position as the Commercial Construction Manager for the corporation. Alfred has managed all commercial construction projects since 2002, including the renovation of a town office, the new construction of a fire station, two renovation projects on local pump stations, and a myriad of governmentally financed projects. Alfred is currently working on implementing policies and procedures that will enable the organization to continue its growing trend.
Alfred’s prior experience includes work as a laborer and carpenter. From 1999-2000, Alfred worked as a cost control manager, which entailed managing subcontractor’s and job budgets.
Alfred is OSHA certified and is also the primary safety officer for the corporation. His familiarity with the BOCA building codes and blueprint layout has been beneficial to Catalano’s.
