Tedford Shelters is a non-profit organization that is “dedicated to ending homelessness in Mid-Coast Maine”. With funding from Maine State Housing Authority and the Housing and Urban Development, a 6-unit complex was constructed in Bath, Maine. Catalano’s Construction Inc. oversaw 800 feet of blasting for the water and sewer line installation, which took place in a residential neighborhood. This building features wood frame construction, sprinkler systems throughout, 6 fully functioning kitchens, and a centered community room. The exterior trim consists of Azek composite material, architectural shingles, cedar impression siding and low-E vinyl clad windows. It is with great enthusiasm that this firm contributed to the project by providing a valuable structure with quality materials and workmanship to an outstanding organization.
