Stella Maris
This project was funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. Renovations to the occupied building include complete demolition and remodel of forty-eight bathrooms, complete demolition and remodel to the community kitchen area and complete demolition and remodel of four handicap accessible units. Site improvements include a new parking lot and drainage system with limited landscaping. The building went under extensive water-proofing such as re-pointing the brick façade and re-caulking all existing control joints. New exterior door entrances with automatic openers were also included in the scope of work. Fast track construction scheduling was in place to accommodate the current tenants living arrangements.
